Delane is a PhD student in the Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology Program at the University of Guelph. Delane’s program of research focuses on the social context of pediatric chronic pain, mainly peer support. She has been working with children and adolescents in a psychological setting for over 6 years and has been conducting psychological assessments for over 4 years. Delane takes a strengths-based approach to her work to ensure that assessments are done in a way that highlights children and adolescents’ areas of strengths to help support their success in school and life.
In her free time, Delane loves cooking and baking, watching documentaries, doing jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with her family (including her cat!).
